The GMC40250fmd Double Gantry Moving Column Gantry Machining Center is one of the gantry machining center series products independently developed by our company.
The basic structure of this machine tool is a fixed-beam gantry frame with a stationary worktable. The gantry frame moves to complete the X-axis feed. Two gantry frames are arranged in the same direction along the X-axis (with the two gantries oriented in parallel), each equipped with independent Y/Z axes and spindle systems, controlled by two separate CNC systems. This allows for independent control of the two gantry frames. Safety interlock switches are installed between the two gantry frames to strictly control the minimum distance between them, ensuring safe and reliable operation. The Y/Z axes on both gantry frames operate as follows: the sliding carriage moves laterally along the heavy-duty linear roller guide rail on the beam to complete the Y-axis feed; the ram moves vertically along the guide rail on the sliding carriage to complete the Z-axis feed. Under the control of their respective CNC systems, each can independently achieve three-axis three-linkage motion.
