From January 4th to 5th, Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, conducted a research tour in Jining and Zaozhuang cities. He emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Central Economic Work Conference, earnestly put into practice the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions during his inspection tour of Shandong, focus on the goal of "taking the lead and playing a pivotal role", strengthen project construction, ensure sound production and operation, steadily promote high-quality development, and strive for a good start in the first quarter.

Project construction is a crucial means to achieve high-quality development. Lin Wu visited the construction sites of such projects as Golden Eagle Lyocell Fiber, Great Wall New Energy Construction Machinery, CALB Shandong Base, and Sunwoda Phase II. He learned about the projects' production capacity, product advantages, and industrial chain development, and emphasized that we should give play to the key role of investment, accelerate the construction of major projects, strictly adhere to safety and quality standards, and promote the early commissioning and effectiveness of the projects. We should strengthen factor guarantees, improve supporting facilities, further refine the industrial and supply chains, cultivate and expand distinctive industrial clusters, and inject impetus and vitality into high-quality development through high-quality project construction.

Stabilizing the economy and expectations lies in stabilizing enterprises.

Lin Wu conducted research at such enterprises as Lubo Automotive Electronics, Ruicheng Aerospace, Donghong Pipe Industry, Lipai Machinery, Weida Machinery, Tengda Special Steel, as well as the Zaozhuang Low-Altitude Economy Power Valley. He asked in detail about market demand trends and the number of orders in hand, and encouraged enterprises to seize the opportunity in the first quarter, operate at full capacity to fulfill orders and boost production, and strive for a sound start this year. Enterprises should accelerate the research on key core technologies and the efficient transformation and application of research achievements, promote cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, accelerate green and low-carbon transformation, and continuously improve their core competitiveness.

Lin Wu visited the wheat square fields in Bujiazhuang Village, Xizou Town, Qufu City to inspect the winter agricultural production work. He emphasized the need to strengthen the field management of crops in winter and spring, organize agricultural technicians to carry out mobile guidance services, and ensure the safe overwintering of wheat seedlings. Major agricultural cities and counties should take the lead in fulfilling their responsibilities and make greater contributions to building a higher-level "Qilu Granary".

Lin Wu also inspected the operation of the Shandong Public Smart Heating Platform, stressing the importance of effectively ensuring the supply of water, electricity, gas and heating services, so as to guarantee that the people can spend the winter in a warm, comfortable and safe environment.

During the inspection, Lin Wu pointed out that the new year brings new atmosphere. All levels and departments must seize the day and live up to the time, promote the rapid progress of projects, the early implementation of policies and the tangible effect of measures, and strive to achieve a good start.
