Chen Yu, Technical Director of Shandong Weida has been rooted in the front line of intelligent equipment R&D for over ten years — from grassroots technical development to leading the entire technical department. Throughout this journey, he has led his team to break through multiple key industry technologies, adding a vivid chapter to the domestic replacement of precision intelligent equipment in China.

It is understood that after graduating in mechanical engineering, Chen Yu started as an ordinary draftsman and gradually moved into core product development. Since joining Shandong Weida, he has witnessed the company's full transformation from traditional machining to high-end intelligent equipment. Now as Technical Director, Chen Yu has not only been indirectly involved in the investment and expansion of several enterprises including Shandong Weineng, but has also taken on major responsibilities in technology roadmap planning and talent team development.

From investment strategy to technology R&D, from team building to industry collaboration — for him, what brings more pride than commercial success is leading his team to overcome one technical challenge after another, and seeing the equipment they developed replace imported products on production lines across China.
