The research group of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) visited Weida for investigation.

On June 9, Qian Huantao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Director of the Economic Committee, led a provincial CPPCC research group to our city for a special thematic study on "Promoting High-Quality Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry." Leaders from the two-tiered cities of Zaozhuang and Tengzhou, including Zhang Bing, Wang Guangbu, Liu Zongguo, Wang Hu, Xue Dengfeng, Yan Binglei, Dong Hongyang, as well as Xie Jinglei, Secretary-General of the Tengzhou Municipal CPPCC, accompanied the research group.

During their stay in Tengzhou, the research group made an on-site visit to Weida . They toured the company's production workshops and R&D centers, carefully inspecting core products, intelligent production lines, and other scenarios. They had face-to-face exchanges with the company's leadership, inquiring in detail about the company's operational scale, technological R&D, and other best practices.

The research group fully affirmed the achievements Tengzhou has made in leveraging artificial intelligence to empower industrial transformation and upgrade, thereby promoting high-quality economic and social development. The group believes that Tengzhou has actively seized new opportunities presented by the integration of the digital and real economies. Focusing on its five leading industries — "Chemicals, Equipment, Lithium Batteries, Medical & Health, and Digital Economy" — Tengzhou has deeply explored new models for promoting industrial development through AI, effectively advancing the upgrading of traditional industries, the growth of emerging industries, and the cultivation of future industries. The research group emphasized that artificial intelligence serves as both the core engine and a key lever for the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. Tengzhou should seize the critical period of AI development, guide enterprises to play a central role in technological innovation, continue to deepen industry-university-research collaboration with universities and scientific research institutes, increase R&D investment, continuously cultivate innovation teams, strive to resolve bottleneck technical challenges, and promote the intelligent and digital transformation of enterprises. Guided by market demand, Tengzhou should also continuously expand the application scenarios of AI across various industries and fields, using application to drive technological breakthroughs and facilitate product iteration, thereby continuously adding new drivers and shaping new advantages for high-quality development. At the same time, the research group noted that the CPPCC should fully leverage its advantages of pooling talented people and gathering wisdom. Focusing on the development of the AI industry, it should conduct in-depth investigations and extensive consultations, produce high-quality research results, provide a reference for the scientific decision-making of the municipal party committee and government, and support the large-scale, high-end, and intelligent high-quality development of Tengzhou's AI industry.
